A 1-credit clear of the arcade game Ryu Jin [ryujin], played with WolfMAME 0.261. Score: 1,498,160. An easy game (by arcade shmup standards, anyway!) if you know some tricks. There are a couple of safespots for taking on bosses (including the absolutely filthy top-left corner for the dual-midboss on the final stage). The biggest trick is: Don't pick up the standard red and pink power-ups. The difficulty ranks up if you do, so the key to an easy clear is to just pick up the other kinds of power-ups. The game drops 5 or 6 life-up items so you can afford to get hit along the way. The final stage ramps up the difficulty - especially the unpredictable final boss - but unloading all my bombs let me cheese my way through.
