Hello Friends,
the Aureal Vortex FM could not convince me a lot. In tracks lile Inoid from Whales Voyage, one instrument was a note below the original, in the Descent-comparison it also kind of failed and the fact that it is not fully compatible with OPL3 (it always plays FM in mono) is another weak point in my opinion. I realy don't shines in many games. First i thought it might be a specific problem with my terrarec xlerate (AU8820), but it seems to be the same with other Aureal Vortex cards as this one.
Anyway, this tune - Ryu's Theme from the MS-DOS PC-Game Street Fighter 2 has something that i really like! Thats why i like to share it with you.
