Hello Friends,
the last comparison vs. Yamaha and Aureal was a defeat to the Aureal-FM. I thought it could be a specific problem with my Terratec XLerate (AU8820) card, so i ordered this no-name AU8810 card - but it is exactly the same! I chose this Descent level 2 track, because the difference between them also is remarkable here. All together, I think that the Aureal Vortex FM isn't great in general. I was surprised with this discovery, because the Aureal Vortex cards were hyped here and there. But this is just my opinion. What do you think about it?

The tune of choice is the seccond level music of Descent.
