Ryzen 9 3950X Insane Benchmark Leaks | RTX 20 Super Specs Radically Bumped up?
980AMD's E3 2019 Next Horizon event was very interesting. We finally received official confirmation from the company that we would be seeing a 16 core 32 thread processor by the name of the Ryzen 9 3950X. This insane CPU features 16 Zen 2 cores, and 64MB level 3 cache and 8MB level 2 cache.
The performance of the Ryzen 9 3950X is insane, with a leaked benchmark showing the chip crushing older zen processors including the ThreadRipper 1950X.
The Ryzen 9 3950X will not launch until September, much later than the July 7th launch date of the other Ryzen 3rd generation chips.
According to rumors the RTX 20 Super cards will feature significantly bumped up performance compared to the older cards. This will be a very interesting situation for AMD, as supposedly cars such as the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 will receive a price cut. Possibly forcing AMD to lower the price of their soon to be released RDNA Radeon RX 5700 and Radeon RX 700 XT.
