S T A L K E R: Call of Pripyat - ( 2021 ) Video #36: "The Hit" with Sultan's Plan failing
3It was finally time for "The Hit". As mentioned, two videos before, I had warned Beard of Sultan's plan and he had warned Spartacus to prepare for an attack. When Knuckles and his men were in place with me, I realized the mistake when I saw Spartacus and his men spread out on my Mini-map with their ambush. No matter who won, Beard had been informed.
This meant there was only one route for "The Transaction" and that was getting it from Beard. Beard would want me to join the Stalkers for the attack on the Dutyer Morgan at the Ranger Station, where he was trading arms to the Bandits for Artifacts. Only Spartacus or Knuckles would win at "The Hit" and would go ( if one or both are killed, their men would continue without them ) to the Ranger Station for the next event.
Since I wanted the mission "The Transaction" from Owl to protect Morgan at the Ranger Station, which meant if he survived, he would go to Jupiter ( for additional missions there ) and it looks like warning Beard, and therefore Spartacus, Owl would not offer the mission "The Transaction" but Beard would. After this video I realized I needed to go back to a Manual Save before I took Sultan's task, which meant I would lose an entire day of progress including loot and Artifacts.
