Jack has survived in Jupiter for many days past the time we first met at the Checkpoint about Vano's debt. I had already sold him many used weapons and other items to recover the 7,000 rubles I had given him, leaving him only a few hundred rubles in his pocket. This time I met him at the Cement Plant where I hung out with him and his Bandit crew until it got dark. Then they left there, and I followed them across the Quarry and up the hill and through the Anomalous Grove and back to the Checkpoint. It is rare that he usually survives the Zone this long and I know someday soon I will find him dead.
