Since we're in the capital of the Desert Area, we're going to pick up multiple quests over there and do them. This includes a part of the main quest, of which I forgot a step and ended up in the wrong part of the desert. But it got solved once I realized my mistake. Of course, once the parts were done in the right order we're pointed to go to a part of the map I didn't want to go (yet), so instead I went north to do quests in an area we hadn't been into anyway.
