The game got a bug-fix in the week between the previous recording(s) and this one, which makes the game run a lot better again now the pathing (or train logic) bug is gone.

Because of that, I'm getting more income, which also means it's becoming a lot easier to buy the shares I need for the task and still having the ability to upgrade (parts of) my trade empire.
With the research progressing nice and slowly, I'm even able to get myself a new train. And since that one has a higher speed, the goods distribution starts to improve too.
