[SAGExpo 2022] Stellanova Demo
9An upcoming SHMUP inspired by Thunder Force by Tpot, creator of Teabat.
On the presentation side, the game is gorgeous looking, somehow having 3D elements in it, despite being made in goddamn Game Maker Studio 2.
In terms of gameplay, you only get two weapons out of 5 in this demo, each having 4 levels of power, as killing enemies gives you XP for used weapon, XP orbs give XP to a specific weapon instead, the color it has shows what weapon will get it.
The game does have inertia, but it comes to play with the Dash mechanic, gives you a short window of invulnerability and allows you to destroy certain obstacles.
