I remember really enjoying the original Saiyuki anime back in the day, I even watched it's sequels Reload and Reload Gunlock. This game is based off of Gunlock and it a somewhat generic 3D arena fighter. It came out in 2004 and I can't seem to find a developer for it, maybe it's a product of Racjin or Eighting as they made a lot of anime fighters for Bandai but who knows. There is only 8 playable characters in this game, so this time around I only showcase 6 battles. Funny enough, there is more playable stages than characters with 9 playable stages.

I can see that Saiyuki is having a kind of renaissance currently with series like Blast and Zeroin which is cool. I'm not really a fan of Saiyuki anymore, I gave Blast a go and it was okay but currently have no plans to watch Zeroin. I enjoyed it back when I was younger but moved on since.
