Salt is a game based around exploration and adventure where you sail across a vast ocean exploring different islands. You will fight pirates, hunt animals, sail the ocean waves, craft items from resources you find throughout the world, and discover mysterious places throughout your adventure.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The current Early Access version includes most basic mechanics such as fighting, hunting, sailing, and fishing, and a good spread of initial content to go along with each of those mechanics. It still contains bugs, incomplete content, and some placeholder elements such as most of the GUI.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“The full version will have much more content, which includes:
More island types
More wildlife and enemies
More items and boats
Settling and the ability to build your own home
Better environmental features including weather and stars
Quests and lore
An improved interface
Controller support"
