I know many of you have asked how to add these types of transitions or effects with Filmora. Well, in Filmora, you have a variety of transitions already available including Sam Kolder inspired transitions!

I've done the Sam Kolder zoom transition and premiere before and it can get very technical so the nice thing about Filmora is that it's super easy.

HOW TO ADD ZOOM TRANSITIONS IN FILMORA

1. With your two clips already in your timeline, all you need to do is click the Transitions library and do a quick search in the search box for ‘Zoom’ where you will see all the zoom transitions. The Sam Kolder inspired transitions are from Fuzzy Zoom 1 to Warp Zoom 6!

2. You can preview the transition by clicking the transition you want and pressing the play button. Then just choose the transition that bests fits your video and drag it to the timeline between the clips you want to transition.

All that’s left is to export and you’re done! Easy one click Sam Kolder transition effects!

Keep in mind that transition effects can only be used in videos in the main video track. Transitions cannot be added to the PIP.
