Samsung Galaxy S24: S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra
19Samsung has just dropped three new smartphones: The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The S24 and S24 Plus both come with variable refresh rate displays for the first time - offering 1-120Hz - while the Plus model also offers QHD+ resolution.
Thinner bezels allow for more screen real estate: 6.2-inches on the S24 and 6.7-inches on the Plus. They also now feature unibody aluminium frames.
The flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra model, meanwhile, takes a leaf out of Apple’s book, with a titanium body.
The Ultra packs a 6.8-inch QHD+ display and, unlike last year’s model, it’s flat rather than curved.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip while the standard S24 models both use Samsung’s Exynos 2400 for Galaxy chip.
Preorders start today with the S24 starting at £799, £999 for the Plus and £1,249 for the S24 Ultra.
