At a glance, the S24 is similar to its predecessor, with an “armour aluminium” frame sandwiched between Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It packs a FHD Dynamic AMOLED 2X display too - but thanks to thinner bezels, the screen is larger than last year at 6.2, rather than 6.1-inches. There’s also a variable 1 to 120Hz refresh rate and a 2,600 nit peak brightness.
It packs a trio of rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultrawide and 10-megapixel 3x telephoto. “Space Zoom” extends then extends the overall reach to 30x.
For internals, the S24 packs Samsung’s Exynos 2400, 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The S24 runs Android 14 out of the box, and Samsung has confirmed seven years of both security and OS support.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 starts at £799 for the 128GB model, running up to £859 for the 256GB variant.
