For this effect, I wanted to accomplish a natural and fluid movement of sand swarming around a specific location with a sense of phenomena. My process for creating this effect was to create a particle flow logic revolving around spawns based on collisions with multiple vortex and wind fields. Then I used those Fume FX to spawn from the particles' movement. I then used the Fume FX data to advect more particles from, which introduces Krakatoa for multiple partitions and a final render.
