This is an OPN2 remix I did of the soundtrack from Sango Fighter. This remix gives the music a SEGA Genesis sound, though some consider certain Genesis music/sounds to be grating. The YM2612 (OPN2) is an FM synthesizer. Emulation was used for this recording. The arrangements are mostly the same as the game's original MIDIs, however, some notes were edited or removed since OPN2 has only 6 channels. Drums are on channel 6, which can play PCM samples. These remixes use some screechy shrill distortion guitars, similar to the General MIDI version of the soundtrack.

Sango Fighter is a fighting game originally released by Panda Entertainment in 1993. It was available for MS-DOS, Super A'Can, and PC-98, and was illegally released for the SEGA Master System. In 2009, the game was released as freeware by Super Fighter Team. The DOS version of Sango Fighter supports PC Speaker, AdLib, Sound Blaster, MT-32, and General MIDI. Its music was composed by Bianji Workshop.
