The chemical plant named after Vladimir Lenin, once used to be a vivid example of the Soviet Union's industrial might.For decades the plant was involved in the production of mineral fertilizers for agricultural use and, ironically, it is this very location that was selected as the industrial base for the production of the herbicide designed to stop the spread of the Forest.
The attack from nature was relentless; a thick cloud covered the complex, killing almost everyone in the plant. A severe lack of maintenance resulted in the release of hazardous chemicals which have now contaminated vast areas.
Many years later, the contaminated sites became overgrown and covered in a thick moss. But do not fall prey to the illusion - the Chemical Plant is still an extremely deadly place for anyone who would dare explore its secrets.
