I'm continuing to check out the experimental content update for Satisfactory. This time we research and unlock radio towers, which update the ingame map, and also build a rifle to help defend against the wild life.

It take a while to research the quartz oscillators to unlock the radio towers. While that research is going on, we check out the Explorer vehicle a bit more, and discover it can climb near vertical surfaces. We use it to climb one of the large arches, and we find a hidden mercer sphere.

After unlocking radio towers, we research the bombs we can now make. Waiting for that to finish, we step up two of the radio towers. We build one on top of the large rock arch that the flying stingray flies through, and we put another on top of a cliff near our second oil pump location. The radio towers are supposed to reveal the map around them, having a larger reveal area the higher they are.

Once we get back, the research of the bomb is done, and this unlocks a rifle. We build a rifle and a few cartridges for it.
