I have a look at the experimental update that recently came out in this video. This is actually my second recording of this, as I had lag troubles the caused problems with my first recording. And wouldn't you know it, they released an update this morning, after I finished this recording, that addresses some of the performance issues I was seeing.

This update adds quartz and sulfur into the game. both can be researched and crafted into several useful things. These include explosives and a new vehicle, the Explorer. Additionally, we now have conveyor lifts that can replace the conveyor ramps that most people were using to lift items up to higher floors of their factories. Additionally, the size of splitters and mergers were adjusted so they should be able to be placed with belts above them now.

There are even more updates, but I haven't unlocked them all yet. Expect more in my next video!
