Satisfactory has entered Early Access and I've decided to play through it! It's similar to a 3D version of Factorio, one of my favorite games. In this episode, we set up quickwire production and use the alternate heavy modular frame recipe. We also make ourselves some blade runners, which let you run faster and jump higher.

I plan to get through all the content they have added to the game so far and explore the world a bit. I'm hoping to make an organized and efficient factory, as the factory I built during the test weekend wasn't very organized. But that will take some time and some unlocking of advanced technologies!

We start off setting up the tractor to get the caterium ore we set the miner up on last time, and bring it back to our factory. We have a belt take it up to the third floor where we set up four smelters and four quickwire constructors. This gets us producing 240 quickwire a minute.
We collect some of the produced wire, and with it we make blade runners at the equipment workshop. These attach to your body, and let you run faster and jump higher. That also seem to let you fall a bit further before taking damage.
We can now also unlock the alternate Heavy Modular Frame recipe with the quickwire. So we do that, and then switch our production line over to it. This uses steel pipes rather than steel beams, and concrete rather than screws. Overall, this is less materials and produces the frames faster, but we have to switch our production around a bit to produce enough pipes, and the route concrete to the machine.
At the end, we also unlock Caterium Electronics. The allows production of advanced electronics, but the most interesting thing to me is a programmable splitter that we can now make.
