Satisfactory Update 4 - Coal Power - 16 Coal Generators with Mk2 Belts - Let's Play (Streams) - EP3
14In this episode the focus is on getting up Coal Power so I can leave those Biomass Burners and the days of desperate vegetation harvesting behind me. The first step to this is setting up an additional Miner on a Normal Copper node below the starting base area, so I have Copper Sheets. After that I head up to the area where the Coal Generators are going to reside. After clearing out the area around the Coal nodes, the Water Extractors have to be set up properly, and since I do not yet have access to the Stackable Pipeline Supports I have to build all the Pipes on ground level. I also manage to unlock the Improved Melee Combat Milestone, which means I can now fight the local wildlife much more effectively using the Xeno-Basher!
This series are based on my Twitch streams, where I will upload all the streams as VODs to YouTube as the main series with long episodes. There will be a companion series with shorter episodes for those who only want to see the highlights too. The titles of the series will reflect quickly what I have been doing in the episode, but as shown above, I will also add a more indepth description to each video about what I've been doing, since the title is limited to 100 characters.

What is Satisfactory about?

Satisfactory is an FPS open-world factory building sim. You play as an engineer on an alien planet tasked to complete ‘Project Assembly’ - a massive machine for a mysterious purpose. Conquer nature, build multi-story factories, and automate to satisfaction!
Are there multiple procedurally generated planets?
No, there are no procedurally generated planets. Just one beautifully crafted, hand-made, 100% organic, vegan, GMO-free planet.
Actually, it’s not even a whole planet. It’s just a small bit. But it’s still pretty big, 30km2. That means about 5.4x5.4km.
Is there combat in the game?
Yes.
Is Satisfactory multiplayer?
Yes. We officially support 1-4 players, but we are not limiting it at the moment. This might change but if you want to try more than 4 players then go for it. If it crashes it’s you or Simon’s fault. @SBegby on Twitter.
Will there be mod support?
This is something we have seriously considered but are instead focusing on getting the game finished and running smoothly. Mod support may be added in the future.
