Satisfactory Update 5 Longplay pt32: 2880/min Copperridge Farm 2 (Road to Nuclear Pasta)
Longplay through to megabase (hopefully)
Have not actually played Update 4 so a lot of this is new! I'm probably going to be doing spreadsheets/planning during stream (offscreen) so there's going to be a bit of dead time. Longplay will be unedited; I'm not particularly streaming this to build an audience but I'm mic'd up so feel free to come say hi or ask questions regarding this game or my work in general and I'll answer if I can.

pt32: 2880/min Copperridge Farm 2
That was a quick patch turnaround, lol
Since conveyor lifts don't visually glitch out anymore, this segment is basically finishing off the functional construction of the smelter array, followed by stress testing it (right into the sink, lol) - since we only have two 720 incoming belts they're just swapped to different inputs to make sure each column saturates out without any dumb mistakes with power, input/output connections, recipes, etc.
Also did some more testing with how beams interact with other architecture. They very much do not play nicely with Frame Floors, since Frame Floors are 0.4m high and Beams snap to foundations in 0.5 increments (that 0.1 is very VERY hard to spot and can get annoying after the fact if a lot of stuff is built on that offset).
I think in general if frame floors/walls/etc are being used they really should be built last after everything else to avoid shenanigans. Basically foundations + walls (even if temporary as guidelines) -- beams + pillars -- frame stuff should be the best way to tackle builds while keeping things on the grid.
The array is completely functional as of the end of this segment, although I'd need to track down the other 3 nodes and tap them to supply the full 2880. This is going to both copperworks for sheets+wire and also supplementing Caterium for Quickwire via Fused Quickwire. That's probably the next segment, along with buckling down and finishing the looks of the smelter array.
