One of the best ways to make sure your batteries don't end up drained - circumvent the need to have all your power go through a battery (at 20-40% loss) with the NIH Core. This allows your battery to charge up all the way and only switch to battery when the charger is not sufficient to power your devices, in which case it still charges your battery.
Why is it called the NIH Core? I have no idea. Does anyone know?
