Scandroid is back! "The Writing’s On The Wall" is the first single released in advance of the artist’s highly anticipated new EP, The Light, and it puts a new spin on the classic Scandroid sound. Riding on a synthpop rhythm laced with robotic synth tones, Klayton delivers one of the smoothest vocal performances on his Scandroid project to date and adds an extra element of interest late in the song with a reverb-heavy guitar section. The result is simultaneously rugged and elegant, old school and modern, and it’s sure to be one of fans’ favorites. The full release of The Light will be available later this year from independent synthwave label FiXT Neon.
