This movie was wild, over the top in the best way and it had us absolutely cracking up. Scary Movie 3 is a 2003 American parody film directed by David Zucker and written by Craig Mazin and Pat Proft.
This is the third installment in the Scary Movie franchise and serves as a sequel to Scary Movie 2 (2001). The film stars Anna Faris and Regina Hall reprising their roles as Cindy Campbell and Brenda Meeks, alongside new cast members Charlie Sheen, Simon Rex, Anthony Anderson, Kevin Hart, Queen Latifah, and Leslie Nielsen.
Filled with absurd and funny moments Scary Movie 3 takes us from creepy videotapes to crop circled and even rap battles (surprisingly!). Packed with references to The Ring, Signs, 8 Mile, The Matrix and just about every pop culture reference it could cram into 90 minutes.
Scary Movie 3 (2003) continues the seriesโ tradition of spoofing horror and sci-fi hits โ this time poking fun at The Ring, Signs, The Matrix Reloaded, and more. Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) is now a TV news reporter who stumbles onto a cursed videotape that kills anyone who watches it in seven days.
Meanwhile, mysterious crop circles begin appearing at the farm of Tom (Charlie Sheen) and George (Simon Rex), setting off an alien invasion plot thatโs as ridiculous as it is chaotic. As Cindy tries to uncover the truth and survive the tapeโs curse, she runs into rappers, prophets, kung-fu masters, and a whole lot of flying objects...most of them people.
