Set in the year 2054, Minority Report follows Chief John Anderton (Tom Cruise), an officer in the elite "PreCrime" division of law enforcement. This unit uses three psychics—called “Precogs”—to predict murders before they happen, allowing authorities to arrest would-be criminals before the crime is even committed.
Anderton fully believes in the system—until the Precogs predict that he will commit a murder in the near future. On the run and desperate to prove his innocence, Anderton uncovers a larger conspiracy that forces him to question everything he thought he knew about justice, destiny, and personal choice. With stunning visuals, intense action, and a gripping narrative, Minority Report remains one of the most thought-provoking thrillers of its era.
