Description:
Maria the Automaton Handler and her partner, Iris the Machinariae, venture to an island in search of a wish-granting treasure. To get to the treasure, they'll have to prove their worth in five element-themed dungeons, find the Tower of Desire, and hopefully beat their rivals to the punch, but there's a mysterious person antagonizing anyone attempting the trials. Can this underdog duo really succeed with all these obstacles?

I personally don't like this dungeon, since the holes in the ground spawns snakes infinitely. This makes it harder to take my time to explore.
6:39 Boss: Mysterious Lance Machinariae
I really wish miniboss rooms had more warning, like a save point. This Machinariae doesn't want anyone to pass the trials for some reason. Stopping us is supposed to be the five beasts' job, not yours!
This boss uses a two-hit combo, but like Iris, she can change direction for her second hit.

You have to light the torch to enter the cave in the SE part of the dungeon.
Note that while save points don't heal your HP on Hard or higher, they can heal EN, which means you can use them to grind against the enemies in the previous room. For the desert area, the pre-save room has a pit that prevents the respawning snakes from crossing over, so you can use that to snipe them. However, the fire chicken can still hit you, so make sure to back away or guard if necessary.
Yeah, Free Buster makes ranged combat much easier.

This boss looks like a Phoenix.
This one is much easier compared to the Beast of Water, since it doesn't seem to inflict any ailments or summon any minions.

During a group mission, Maria and Mel argue over whether to kill more monsters or let them go. Mel says something insensitive about Maria's father, driving a further wedge between them.
18:31 Island Town
The Seer states that the Machinariae who attacked us is known as the Gravekeeper. She seems to be behind the deaths related to previous trial attempts.
After doing some offscreen grinding in the second-to-last desert room, I used the stat grid to upgrade Iris's sword. This increases her range and damage, making things easier for when she runs out of EN.
