Screamer 2 (1996) | Arcade-Style Rally Racing for DOS | Retro Gameplay | No Commentary
Six winding, wildly dangerous tracks with varying levels of difficulty, terrain, driving conditions and configurations. Power to customize up to 20 high performance race cars means you can check yourself before you wreck yourself. Incredible physics for real-time jumping, turning, spinning, and twisting.
The game is also known as Bleifuss 2 (German title).
The Glide renderer was added later as an afterthought and has obvious glitches. In particular, there are lots of visible polygon cracks that appear even on the original hardware. Also, there are weird edges around some sprites which is especially obvious in snowy Finland stage. However, the Glide version is more stable than the SVGA build, which often crashes. The game was purchased on GOG and played in DosBox using the nGlide wrapper.
