Released for PC in 1995, Screamer pushed MS-DOS Arcade Racing to the next level! Completely rendered in Software this game would have pushed your Pentium to the limit in 1995. Does a damn good job of it anyway. This game definitely gives Daytona USA on the Sega Saturn a run for its money and might even be able to hang with Ridge Racer on PS1, the latest and greatest next gen "polygon monster" of the mid 90's. This is impressive for an MS-DOS game. The game looks dynamic, it's fast and smooth with the draw distance/pop-up pushed further into the distance compared to Daytona USA on the Saturn and a selection of cars and tracks to make Ridge Racer look like nothing more than a tech demo! Yep, I like this game more than Ridge Racer or Daytona USA on the home consoles. This is an MS-DOS masterpiece! You must play this one if you're into 90's Arcade Racers.
