Sean Plays Portal
Remember when Valve used to make video games?
If you're like us (because you're old), then you first played Portal on Xbox 360 as the sleeper hit of the Orange Box collection for Half Life 2: Episode 2. And you also never played Half Life or Team Fortress 2. And you were probably already familiar with Jonathan Colton before his hit track "Still Alive" barnstormed the internet, and certainly long before he performed live on cruise ships.
But we digress: Portal is a great game that's ostensibly a physics puzzle, but really it's about matters of the heart: A woman, a woman-shaped robot, and the wordless companion cube. We got this game and Portal 2 as part of a bundle on Nintendo Switch, which also happened to be on sale for $5 (ends 12/1/2024) -- but let's be honest: $20 MSRP is a steal for either game let alone both.
Come with us and experience this triumph.
