Second attempt - Part 1 (Turn 1&2) - No Japanese within 100 miles ASL Starter Kit 4
Hello friends, this is Jim das Selvas to start a new series called: WHAT IF, in which we will test different strategies for a given scenario.
To start this series, we will use some scenario from the Pacific Theater of Operations from Starter Kit 4.
The current scenario is a scenario from the Starter Kit 4 module, No Japanese whitin 100 miles (ASL Scenario S78) designed by Brian Youse.
The action takes place in Java in 1942, in which the Japanese invasion had already been taking place for a few days.
Despite this, Dutch intelligence reported that there had been no landings on the island.
Australian forces formed defensive positions along the Tjiantem River and, contrary to intelligence, five Japanese tanks suddenly appeared to attempt to seize a bridge over the river.
Australian forces destroyed two of the tanks with anti-tank rifles.
This fact led to the withdrawal of the remaining tanks, while the Japanese infantry looked for other positions to cross the river.
The commander of the Australian forces on the island of Java (Blackforce), Temporary Brigadier Arthur Blackburn sends a reinforced company from his former battalion, towards the highway that crosses the island in a north-south direction to defend the perimeter, and this is the general situation.
English spoken, Portuguese subtitles.
Soundtrack:
