In this Second Extinction first impressions video I'll be showing you some Second Extinction gameplay from the first few missions I embarked upon & talking about how the games feels to play as a solo experience. Second Extinction single player is a strange thing, it feels amazing to play and looks brilliant (all Second Extinction gameplay in this video was captured on PC and is representative of Second Extinction highest settings PC gameplay) but it is INCREDIBLY HARD! So for those of you wondering if Second Extinction single player is a viable option...this video might answer that question!

After settling into some Second Extinction gameplay I wanted to share my Second Extinction first impressions / Second Extinction preview to help others make a decision about buying the game. Second Extinction is out now in early access and definitely feels geared towards team / multiplayer sessions. Playing Second Extinction single player is a challenging experience, the dinosaurs hit hard and with no AI team mates to hep you combat the waves of angry lizards it's easy to go down with no way to resurrect (you can self resurrect but trying to do this whilst the Second Extinction dinosaurs continue to attack you is nigh on impossible). Before I started playing I thought that Left 4 Dead with dinosaurs or dinosaur Left 4 Dead would be the best way to explain Second Extinction gameplay to someone who has never heard of the game and after my first initial play session I think that's a pretty decent summary.

I'll definitely be spending more time crafting my final Second Extinction review as this was simply an early access Second Extinction first impressions video but my initial feelings are very positive. I just need to find some friends to help me over come this games difficulty curve and mow down all these deadly Second Extinction dinosaurs!
