Second Monitor Flickering on and off on Windows 11 PC (Solved)
Method used in this video 3rd point
If your second monitor is flickering on and off on a Windows 11 PC, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:
1.Check the cables: Ensure that the cables connecting the monitor to your PC are secure and properly connected. If you're using an adapter or splitter, try replacing it with a new one.
2.Update drivers: Check if there are any pending driver updates for your graphics card. You can do this by going to the Device Manager and looking for updates for your graphics card.
3.Change refresh rate: Try changing the refresh rate of the monitor to a lower or higher setting. To do this, go to the Display settings in Windows 11 and select the monitor in question. Then click on the "Advanced display settings" link and look for the "Refresh rate" option. Change the setting and see if it makes a difference.
4.Disable hardware acceleration: Some applications, especially web browsers, can cause flickering on secondary monitors when hardware acceleration is enabled. To disable it, open the settings of the application in question and look for the option to disable hardware acceleration.
5.Check for interference: Electrical interference from other devices or wireless signals can cause flickering on monitors. Try moving the monitor away from other devices and see if it makes a difference.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a technician for further assistance.
