Megataur is the boss in the Halls of Collosia. Earlier in the dungeon you fight Minitaur, and apparently he ran and told his big bro you were mean to him after he got stomped.

Megataur has an array of mostly weak attacks. Like Magmar, he rolls around the screen trying to hit you. This is his hardest-hitting move, and can be tricky to avoid since there's no real way to tell in which direction he's going to roll. He does a ground stomp, dealing minor damage to both characters, knocks them back, and resets their charge meter. He also casts wimpy versions of Crush and Drain. He'll either single- or dual-target these spells, and the Drain spell will heal him a negligible amount. He also casts Confound, which reverses the movement directions for you. This is really only a problem if it's used on the player character, as it doesn't bother the computer controlled character any. It's easily dealt with by a Cure spell or an Essence item. In between attacks, Megataur will hop into the fire braziers in the middle of the screen, though this does not heal him like it did Magmar.

He has a good bit of HP but pretty low defense compared to most of the monsters in the dungeon. I prefer using the spear, but the Gladiator Sword -- or Bronze Axe, if you went to the pyramid before here -- will work just fine; Lv. 3 isn't required, but Lv. 2 is recommended at least. Like the other bosses before him, he's not much of a threat. Enjoy the video!
