Secret of Mana - Defensive Magic Only Run - Stream 01 - Part 3
0This is my first stream for Secret of Mana which was hosted on September 10, 2015 at 0900 EST and went on for roughly three hours before stopping.
My goal is to find out how hard the game is to beat without using attack magic, which normally breaks the game. To add more misery to pain, I am denying myself healing magic from Undine which is your primary source of health.
Since this is a echo of a Twitch stream, there are going to be some technical issues such as missed frames and dropped sequences due to bandwidth issues as well as audio level inbalances, most should be eliminated by now however. Despite this, please forgive those and enjoy the playback!
In this 8-part stream, we get the Mana Sword which kicks off all the current troubles in the world. We then get our mission from Sage Luka at the Water Palace. Along the way we pick up a Sprite and a young Girl and fight off against Elinee, the witch in the haunted forest. After gaining some magic, we tackle the second seed temple and face off against our first true challenge without attack magic, the Fire Gigas.
