Secret of Mana - Defensive Magic Only Run - Stream 02 - Part 2
0This is my second stream for Secret of Mana which was hosted on September 17, 2015 at 0900 EST and went on for roughly three hours before stopping.
My goal is to find out how hard the game is to beat without using attack magic, which normally breaks the game. To add more misery to pain, I am denying myself healing magic from Undine which is your primary source of health.
Since this is a echo of a Twitch stream, there are going to be some technical issues such as missed frames and dropped sequences due to bandwidth issues as well as audio level inbalances, most should be eliminated by now however. Despite this, please forgive those and enjoy the playback!
In this 8-part stream, we storm the ruins to the south of Pandora and discover that the boss, Wall Face, is not to be trifled with! We then chase after the Scorpion Army who intend on stealing Mana Seeds and before returning the seed, we encounter the Empire and have to fend them off and protect Luka. After all that, we're finally free to leave the caldera and travel to the Upper Lands where hopefully we can return the sprite to its homeland, only to find it was destroyed. We do find the wind temple and get some new spells before we move north to Mantango, a village full of mushrooms! Once there, we find a baby dragon that might help us in the future but for now, King Truffle will watch over it until it grows up.
