Securely Wiping All Internal Drives from the Dell UEFI BIOS Setup Using Dell Data Wipe (XPS 13 9365)
Using the Dell Data Wipe to Securely Wipe the Internal NVMe SSD using the UEFI BIOS - Dell Xtreme Performance System XPS 9365. Note there have been numerous issues with Dell Data Wipe on this model that have been (partially) addressed with UEFI BIOS Updates. The current UEFI BIOS Update is Version 2.11.0. This version still has one outlying issue with Dell Data Wipe; if the SATA Operation is changed from RAID to AHCI, Dell Data Wipe hangs on the Dell Logo. This can be worked around by temporally changing the SATA Operation to RAID and then using Dell Data Wipe.
