Seedi Console Developer Interview - The FAILED 90's CD-Based Clone System
Smash JT Exclusive Seedi Console Developer Interview! I sit down with the creators of the Seedi console and discuss what went wrong with the failed Indiegogo campaign and future plans for the console.
The Seedi is a game console that plays retro disc-based games, though in its current state, requires BIOS to play specific systems and efforts by the end user to get it to be fully functional. The Indiegogo campaign fell about 40% short of the funding goal and we take a look at the reasons why.
I discuss my concerns with obstacles such as legal issues, copyright infringements, Retroarch controversy, and pricing vs. building one of these on your own.
Though many of my concerns are still very real, it's good to see Bryon and Chris taking them seriously and I wish them the very best going forward with this console.
