Sega Genesis Mini Unbox and Compare to MegaPi Case.
81Taking a quick look at the Sega Genesis Mini. I finally picked one up on sale at a local Best Buy and since I have a Raspberry Pi 3b+ in a MegaPi Case I wasn't in a rush to get one of these at launch.
I still wanted one eventually if just for the 2x included 3-button USB controllers alone! But also I'm glad to support Sega when they do things right and not going with @Games and rather getting M2 to make this thing was definitely the right move. The emulation, presentation and build quality is up there with the best if these.
I was curious to see how it compared to my MegaPi Case. I guess I was expecting it to be roughly the same size so I was a little surprised to see it's actually a bit larger. I guess the MegaPi case is large by Pi case standards but still tiny compared to classic mini consoles!
