SEGA Superstars Tennis (X360) ✪ Complete All Missions (A) Speedrun in 3:40:43 (Current World Record)
Part 22 of various practice runs towards the Sonic Speedrun Marathon.
Switching onto one of the few games I've been highly anticipated on running for a very long time, SEGA Superstars Tennis.

My notes on the run:
I've always wanted to attempt a speedrun on this game for the longest time, and to a point where I was hoping to actually go for a world record as well, definitely got me hyped up. Anyways, I'll go off with some notes by each world here real quick.
For starters, Super Monkey Ball. Only missions that use to feel frustrating from previous attempts was the "Make a Trickshot" & "Monkey Ball Keep Up" missions.
Second/third/fourth, Samba De Amigo, Curien Mansion and Space Channel 5. All played pretty solid so no complaints.
Fifth, Jet Set Radio. The graffiti soul mission still to this day feels like one of my least favourites but luckily clutched it on the first try to avoid a restart.
Sixth, Sonic The Hedgehog. Literally had a brain fart moment in my head during the last mission with Doubles Tournament second match and literally restarted the whole thing. Major time loss, but at least I know this is one area that can save lots of time when I run it back.
Seventh, Puyo Pop Fever. No complaints there.
Eighth, Space Harrier. Not the biggest fan of the one mission having to dodge obstacles but really glad I got it down on the first try though.
Ninth, Alex Kidd. Definitely my least favourite, a second area where there's a lot of time save that can be made. Second match against Reala had 1 restart, whereas final match against Alex Kidd had 2 restarts.
Tenth, OutRun. Similar take with Alex Kidd, not the biggest fan of that area, and if anything the only bad part was in the first match against MeeMee.
Eleventh, Virtua Squad. Another area with no complaints.
Twelfth, NiGHTS. Another scenario as to why I don't like Doubles Matches. CPU teammate got in the way at times where I thought they were gonna hit the ball but it ends up getting past them to where I try to save it.
Thirteenth, ChuChu Rocket. Practised this area the most so I was definitely happy that I avoided having to retry any of the missions.
Fourteenth, Golden Axe. Another area that played solid so no complaints.
Lastly, After Burner. There was only 1 restart even though it's just Singles Tournament final. Good thing I left it as the last area to finish the run. Through most of the tournaments I try to avoid having to go through Deuce & Advantage Point scenarios, though I don't know if it wastes more time to restart or not.
Overall there's definitely huge potential for saving more time, if anything it might be possible to get a sub 3 hour 30 minute time, that is if some of the singles & doubles tournaments were played better without so much restarting involved.
