Sengoku 3 (Arcade)
1Known in Japan as Sengoku Legends 2001 (戦国伝承2001, Sengoku Denshō 2001), this game was developed by Noise Factory (who nowadays is also owner of the Power Instinct Series) and released on Neo Geo in 2001 (as the original name says). Unlike the previous games, this one is focused on combo-making, which makes the game more fun. The graphics are beautifully-made, with excellent animation and good color contrast. The musics are well-composed (sadly I couldn't show the rest of the stages), the gameplay is joyful, the characters have good charisma... This game is so awesome that I'm out of adjectives here. If you have the chance, PLAY IT. Either by emulation, the PS2 release (only in Europe) or by other means.
