Correction one: The ME 2 clip on microphone is OMNI-directional. The sales rep tole me he was selling me the kit with the cardioid mic. This is actually omnidirectional, instead. It turns out that some reviews online state that the microphone I got actually sounds better than the cardioid (ME 4) microphone, so that may end up being a good thing. But I wanted to make clear that the ME 2 is actually an omnidirectional microphone.

I will be posting performance videos for this kit, as time goes on. As of right now, I have already had one test not go the way I'd planned. (as a result of the ME 2 mic being omnidirectional, thus picking up background noise)

I've now had satisfactory results with this microphone. Details follow in the paragraph below.
