Lots is shown in this video. I squeezed some good settings out of the GTX 745 for The Witcher 3, but it took going down to 720p and putting up with some "hitching". For the most part, the game plays fine and it actually looks really good like this, but it does have some hitching about 15% of the time. That might not sound too bad, but it annoyed me. The game is playable like this on a GTX 745, but a GTX 960 delivers a pretty nice 1080p experience for this game. A GTX 970 offers a nearly perfect 1080p experience, for what that's worth, also. This video is long and very detailed. I wanted to show off as much of the city as I could. The settings are shown four different times.

A note on the first battle: Those bandits were level 14 to my level 6. I had to cheese them to not end up getting ganged up on. I tried taking them all on the first time I found them, and I promptly died. That's why I cheesed them in the video.
