The Robo 3D printer destroyed in this video was a consistent lemon with almost every part on it failing. During it's short life the heated bed died, the bed rails failed, the z-axis screws were bent (both of them), the heater assembly was broken, the ramps on the circuit board that power the heated nozzle were toast, the feeder wouldn't move filament, etc. The only thing on the printer still working was the stepper motors so I will harvest those from the destroyed hulk and use them for something else. The cost of repairing this 3D Printer and making it work again would be the same as building a new printer from scratch so I will never purchase another Robo 3D printer again after the experience I had with their product and dealing with the company. It's unfortunate that even their new Robo 3D R2 printer is having similar quality control issues and Joel Telling (3D Printing Nerd) went through 3 printers to get one he could review and still had to rebuild it during the video. That is why I was so happy to destroy this printer and why my neighbor who I gave it to gladly brought it over for destruction since it just wasted a ton of his time also.
