In this video, I will show you how to power down a base in Elite Dangerous without setting off the alarms. This is a useful skill for anyone who wants to explore settlements without being detected.

To power down a base, you will need to find the power plant. The power plant is usually located in the center of the settlement, and it is guarded by security personnel. You will need to sneak past the guards and disable the power plant in order to power down the base.

To sneak past the guards, you will need to use stealth. You can do this by crouching and moving slowly. You should also avoid making any noise. If you are seen by the guards, they will sound the alarm and you will have to fight your way out of the settlement. Try and collect access codes by scanning a guard. Find the control room or settlement alarm in the security centre and disable it

Once you have disabled the power plant, the base will be powered down. You can then explore the settlement without being detected.
