Severance S2E9 “The After Hours” Breakdown Recap & Review *SPOILERS*
42It’s been a little over a week since Episode 8, and the fandom by and large seemed united in being dissatisfied with the episode. I saw some people going so far as to call it bad, which I vehemently disagree with. “That episode didn’t do a good job of its goal” is the worst I’d ever say about an episode of “Severance.” It’s still head and shoulders above virtually everything else on TV right now.
Having said that, though, I expected what would be a considered a “bounce back” penultimate episode this week … and that’s exactly what we got. The job of the penultimate episode is to get me hype for the finale, and this episode – unlike the last one – succeeded in its goal.
