In a surprising twist, SFANS actually shipped the new dock out to backers. This was the redesigned dock that was completely different from the older dock. Backers were quick to explain the issues they were facing with the new dock including ports not working, no video, and the Switch being unable to charge. After Kotaku posted an article it was brought to light for many to see what has been going on for the past year.
