Speed runners managed to import a Shield TV from China that allows them to play through Zelda Twilight Princess on the Nvidia system. After checking the game files they realized the system is using an emulator to play Gamecube and Wii games on the Tegra powered system. This has led several people to ask when the emulator will appear on the Switch. Nintendo announced the paid online will launch on the Switch in September with more information coming later. A rumor from reliable sources over on Polygon cited a possible big acquisition coming from Microsoft in the coming weeks with both EA and Valve named in the article.
