SFII World of Warriors - Elephants Calms my Chitta
73Street Fighter II World of Warriors was my art project that I started back in 2014. It was supposed to be a Street Fighter II themed project about the culture of each fighter's country of origin.
This however, is my second new arranged track that I started to record back in 2014.

My inspiration for Dhalsim's track comes from my perseption of traditional indian music. The carnatic singing in the intro is sung by the fantastic Pratibha's Music: https://www.youtube.com/user/pratibhamusic/featured
Her sinsing this gamaka scale was a perfect fit to give it a nice indian flavour. I've also used certain instruments to good effect and my hope is that it'll give this track a clear indian vibe. Here's a list of said instruments:
Sitar सितार (plucked stringed instrument)
Sarod (सरोद (stringed instrument)
Shehnai (double reed flute)
Tablas (two single-headed, barrel-shaped small drums)
The background art for this video is inspired by indian pattern work and illustrations of indian gurus and deities.
