In Shadow Dancer the High Score Trick is earned when you defeat a boss in the game with the exception of the final boss when the timer is below the 1 minute mark. You know you suceeded in getting it when the game takes awhile to load the stage clear screen as otherwise it loads instantly. Further high score can be obtained with this trick the less remaining time is left on the clock so defeating the boss with exactly 1 second left will earn you the most amount of points. In the Bonus rounds, if you are not confident enough to hit all 50 ninjas or at least 49, you can simply choose not to hit any ninja at all for a effortless good bonus.
